In the historic district of Concord, Massachusetts, Trinity Episcopal Church provides a collection of inspiring, state-of-the-art and historic spaces for small dinners, large receptions, corporate and community gatherings and a full range of celebrations.

Surrounded by stone walls and perennial gardens, our event spaces are connected on the exterior by walkways across green lawns. On the interior, all of our spaces are integrated via generous transitional passages, foyers and landings.

We celebrate three centuries with a 2015 “green” parish house that integrates parlor, library, offices, conference rooms, rehearsal spaces, large kitchen, art gallery and parish hall with open transition spaces; a large 1963 slate and stone sanctuary, lecture hall & performance space; and a small 1885 stone chapel for chamber music and speaking engagements.

Hospitality is the fundamental purpose of our spaces. We invite and encourage guests to enjoy receptions, conferences, business retreats, family reunions, seminars, concerts, catered dinners, art openings, recitals and community meetings for groups of all sizes, ages and abilities.

The initial experience of the building interior borrows the historic stone architecture with large windows along the entrance lobby overlooking a perennial garden with a meandering walkway and benches.

The Parish Hall anchors the surrounding spaces with interior and exterior transitional reception areas on three sides.

It glows with sunlight by day, and with multi-point incandescent light after sunset. Equipped with in-ceiling AV projection and wireless sound system, the Parish Hall can accommodate music for dining and dancing or serve as a lecture hall for presentations and speaking programs.

The Library is a private space set off from the Parish Hall with pocket doors and separate entrances. With tray ceiling, built-in cabinetry and gas fireplace the space can be configured several ways: conference room, study tables, pre-dinner reception, dining room, living room and as added capacity with an opening to the Parish Hall. This conversion of the room is an example of the flexibility of function that has been designed into the entire campus.
In addition to art and music spaces on the main level, an additional Choir Room is located on the upper level. With its vaulted ceiling and sound-dampening flooring, this space supports educational and corporate activities, weekday classes, and music rehearsals.

Our facilities reflect an array of thoughtful design choices to create an inviting, comfortable and meaningful gathering place. The campus is accessible on each level and can accommodate the needs of all our visitors.
